Museum Cafe

The museum's cafe is named "Norah's," after the museum's prized 1888 portrait of Englishwoman Norah Gribble by John Singer Sargent.

The cafe and the museum's catering service will both be run by Savor, a division of SMG Food and Beverage in Philadelphia.

The cafe, with both inside and outside seating, will feature morning coffee and pastries and a lunch and dinner menu with "seasonal American cuisine," museum external affairs Director Kimberly Templeton said. There will be an emphasis on Virginia shellfish and seafood, and the wine list will highlight local wineries.

The cafe and catering service will be overseen by executive chef Kasey Thexton.
